To open Mednet Webaccess, select the "Webaccess"
link under the Mednet Files heading on the Menu.

You will then be taken to the following screen where you
will be prompted to log in. Enter your UserID and password
in the required fields. Note that you do not have to enter
your departmental context or server information. Webaccess
will route your login appropriately.

Macintosh users must use the Text View option located at
the bottom of the page. Select this link to proceed.

You will see all directories you have rights to.
Home@SWMED is your personal directory that exists
on the Users volume of your server (PC users - This is your
personal directory on the O: drive).
Drive0@USERS is the root of the Users Volume on your
server. You will see your personal and departmental folders
here.
DriveW@USERS includes multi-deparmental shared applications
you have access to.
DriveS@USERS is the root of the Users Volume of the
Shared server SWNWPUB. All users have access to this common
area for temporary storage and/or file transfer. Note that
all items on this drive are deleted during regularly scheduled
network down times (usually the third Sunday of the month).

Clicking on the Home@SWMED directory opens the directory.
If you wish to move up a directory, select the "Parent
Directory" link.
IMPORTANT: When editing files, any changes you make are saved
locally to your workstation. You will have to upload the file
for it to be updated on the server.
Depending on your particular setup, you may be able to open
files by clicking on them or may be prompted to download the
files.

To upload files, select the Upload link.

Upon selecting the Upload link, you will get the following
window.
Users who are using Mednet Webaccess thru a dial up modem
connection need to be aware of the size of the file they are
trying to upload. Large files may take minutes or hours to
transfer depending on the connection speed and file size.

To download a file, select the download link next to the
file you want to download.

You will get a standard download window. You can now save
the file to your local computer.

Be sure to logout when you are done. Simply closing the browser
does not properly log you off of the network.
